What is Zarbee's Children's Cough & Sore Throat Syrup 100ml?

Zarbee's Children's Cough & Sore Throat Syrup is a cough syrup for children aged 2 and over, for any cough - dry or chesty - with a cold, allergies or irritants, and for a sore throat.

How does it help?

Honey soothes and calms the urge to cough, ivy leaf extract helps loosen mucus so a chesty cough clears more easily, and glycerol coats the throat to soothe and protect it. Shake the bottle and use the measuring cup: children aged 2 to 5 take 5ml two or three times a day, and children aged 6 to 12 take 10ml twice a day, preferably between meals.

Who should take care?

Do not give to children under 2. Not suitable if your child is allergic or intolerant to any ingredient - it contains honey and fructose. If a 2-year-old's symptoms persist or get worse after two days, or there is no improvement after 7 days, see a doctor; do not use for more than 15 days. Call 999 or go to A&E if your child is struggling to breathe.
