What is Benylin Children's Dry Cough & Sore Throat Syrup 125ml?
Benylin Children's Dry Cough & Sore Throat Syrup is a medicine for the relief of irritating, tickly dry coughs and sore throats, for children aged 1 and over and adults.
How does it help?
Glycerol and sucrose coat and soothe the throat, easing the tickle that triggers a dry cough. It is non-drowsy, so it can be used day or night. Children 1 to 5 years: 5ml. Children over 5 and adults: 10ml. The dose can be repeated three or four times a day.

Who should take care?
Not for babies under 1. Do not use for more than a week in children under 3 unless a doctor or pharmacist advises it. Contains sucrose and glucose (bad for teeth; take into account with diabetes) and small amounts of propylene glycol, sodium benzoate and benzyl alcohol. If the cough lasts more than 3 days or gets worse, stop and see a doctor. Get urgent help if a child is struggling to breathe or has a high temperature that will not come down.
