Who’s eligible

The licensed BMI criteria

These are the criteria your pharmacist confirms at consultation — the online check is a guide, not an approval.

BMI 30+

Any weight-related condition.

BMI 27–29.9

With high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, or sleep apnoea.

Alongside lifestyle

Used with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

No GP referral

Our prescribing pharmacists run the full assessment.

Orlistat has a slightly different BMI threshold (28+). Full criteria are checked during your consultation. Use the BMI checker near the top of the page to see where you land.

Common questions

Questions, answered plainly

Am I eligible for weight-loss injections?
The licensed criteria are a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 and above with a weight-related health condition (high blood pressure, prediabetes/type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, sleep apnoea). Our online check measures this in two minutes, and the pharmacist confirms eligibility at your video consultation.
Do I need to see a GP first?
No GP appointment or referral is needed. Our prescribing pharmacists run the assessment under a Patient Group Direction — though if anything in your screening needs your GP, we’ll tell you and point you there.
Is there a consultation fee?
No — the online check and the pharmacist’s video consultation are free. You only pay for treatment once the pharmacist has agreed it’s appropriate.
How quickly can I start?
Complete the online consultation today and we’ll usually hold your video consultation within one working day. If approved, treatment is available for collection in Leeds or discreet tracked delivery.
What support do I get?
Dose titration is managed by the pharmacist with scheduled follow-ups, side-effect support on the phone, and a review if weight loss stalls. You’re never left to manage injections alone.

Important. Mounjaro, Wegovy and Orlistat 120 mg are prescription-only medicines supplied under Patient Group Directions after a structured clinical check. Our prescribing pharmacists personally review every consultation and makes the final decision — nothing is approved automatically, and where your GP or an NHS route is more appropriate we will say so. Information on this page is factual service information, not a recommendation to use any medicine. All treatments must be used alongside a calorie-reduced diet and increased physical activity as directed by your pharmacist.
