What is Voltarol Max Strength Pain Relief 2.32% Gel?

Voltarol Max Strength 2.32% Gel is a topical anti-inflammatory pain-relief gel rubbed into the skin to ease local pain and inflammation, for example in muscles and joints. Two applications a day can provide relief across 12 hours.

How does it help?

It contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) that is absorbed through the skin to reduce the production of the chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation at the site of application.

Who should take care?

Always read the patient information leaflet before use. For external use only; avoid broken skin, eyes and mouth, and wash your hands after use. As an NSAID, avoid if you have had an allergic reaction (such as wheezing or a rash) to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory painkillers; avoid in the last three months of pregnancy.
