What is Strepsils Menthol Lozenges 36?
Strepsils Menthol are antiseptic throat lozenges for the symptomatic relief of mouth and throat infections, in a cooling menthol flavour.
How does it help?
Two antiseptics - amylmetacresol and 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol - are released as the lozenge dissolves slowly in the mouth, soothing a sore throat. Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours. Adults can take up to 12 in 24 hours; children over 12 up to 8 in 24 hours.

Who should take care?
Not suitable for children under 12. Do not exceed the stated dose, and use the lowest dose for the shortest time. The lozenges contain sucrose and glucose - not suitable with hereditary fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency. They contain a very low level of gluten (from wheat starch) - regarded as gluten-free and very unlikely to cause problems in coeliac disease - but do not take them if you have a wheat allergy. They also contain propylene glycol and fragrance allergens. See a doctor if symptoms persist, have not improved or get worse after 3 days. Our pharmacist checks your answers before it is supplied.
