What is Silicol Gel 200ml?
Silicol Gel is an oral gel of colloidal silicic acid for upper gastrointestinal disorders - symptoms such as heartburn, acid reflux, bloating and stomach discomfort.
How does it help?
After it is swallowed, the gel forms a soothing, protective coating over the lining of the stomach and gut, and its large, adsorbent surface binds irritants and toxins so they pass out of the body. Take one tablespoon (15ml) three times a day, ideally an hour before meals. Carry on for a few days after symptoms ease; for longer-term symptoms use for up to four weeks and then review.

Who should take care?
Read the label before use. See your GP if symptoms last more than four weeks or keep coming back, or if you have difficulty swallowing, unexplained weight loss, vomiting, black stools or blood in your vomit - these need checking.
