What is Nicotinell Mint Lozenges 1mg & 2mg?
Nicotinell Mint Lozenges are a sugar-free nicotine replacement therapy that relieves the cravings and withdrawal symptoms of stopping smoking, to help you quit or cut down first.
How does it help?
Suck a lozenge slowly when you feel the urge to smoke; the nicotine is absorbed through the lining of the mouth. Start with one every 1 to 2 hours - most people need 8 to 12 a day - and use no more than one an hour, up to 24 a day with the 1 mg lozenge or 15 a day with the 2 mg. The 1 mg suits a low to moderate dependency; the 2 mg suits a strong dependency or people who have tried nicotine replacement before without success.
Key benefits
- Use it when a craving hits
- Two strengths
- Sugar free, mint flavour

Who should take care?
For adults aged 18 and over - under-18s should only use them on prescription. Not for non-smokers or occasional smokers. If you have recently been in hospital with a heart attack, stroke, unstable angina or a serious heart rhythm problem, or have uncontrolled high blood pressure, speak to your doctor first. Tell our pharmacist if you have diabetes (check your blood sugar more often when you start), a stomach ulcer or gastritis, liver or kidney problems, epilepsy or an overactive thyroid, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep out of the reach of children: doses adults tolerate can be dangerous to a small child. Contains aspartame (a source of phenylalanine - not suitable with phenylketonuria) and maltitol (not suitable with hereditary fructose intolerance). Our pharmacist checks your answers before it is supplied.
