What is Nicorette Nasal Spray 10mg/ml 10ml?

Nicorette Nasal Spray is a nicotine replacement therapy that relieves and prevents cravings and withdrawal symptoms, to help you stop smoking or vaping.

How does it help?

Each spray delivers 0.5 mg of nicotine into the nose, where it is absorbed quickly. Before first use, prime it by pressing the pump several times, pointing it away from people, until a fine spray appears. Then put the tip in one nostril, pointing towards the back of the nose, and spray once; repeat in the other nostril. Follow the leaflet for how often to use it and for how long.

Who should take care?

Not for children under 12; under-18s should use it for no more than 12 weeks unless a doctor advises otherwise. Only use it together with other nicotine replacement products on the advice of a healthcare professional. If the spray gets in your eyes, rinse them thoroughly with water. Do not prime it near children or pets. Not for non-smokers or occasional smokers. If you have recently been in hospital with a heart attack, stroke, unstable angina or a serious heart rhythm problem, or have uncontrolled high blood pressure, speak to your doctor first. Tell our pharmacist if you have diabetes (check your blood sugar more often when you start), a stomach ulcer or gastritis, liver or kidney problems, epilepsy or an overactive thyroid, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
