What is Nicorette QuickMist Fresh Mint 1mg/Spray Mouthspray Duo 2 x 150 Sprays?

A mouth spray that delivers 1mg of nicotine per spray to relieve and prevent cravings and withdrawal symptoms in people giving up or cutting down on tobacco or e-cigarettes. This duo pack contains two 150-spray dispensers in a fresh mint flavour.

How does it help?

Nicotine sprayed into the mouth is absorbed through the lining of the cheek, so it starts to ease a craving within minutes. Use one or two sprays when you would normally smoke or when a craving comes on, up to four sprays an hour and no more than 64 sprays in 24 hours. Point the nozzle away from your throat, do not breathe in as you spray, and avoid swallowing for a few seconds afterwards.

Who should take care?

Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Not for children under 12. Amounts of nicotine that adults and adolescents tolerate can cause severe, even fatal, poisoning in small children, so keep the spray out of their sight and reach. Do not use more than four sprays an hour or 64 sprays in 24 hours. Speak to our pharmacist or your GP before using it if you have heart disease, a recent heart attack or stroke, uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, a stomach or duodenal ulcer, kidney or liver problems, seizures, an overactive thyroid or a phaeochromocytoma. Contains small amounts of ethanol and propylene glycol. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to our pharmacist first.
