What is Nicorette Microtab 2mg Sublingual Tablets 100?

Nicorette Microtab is a small nicotine replacement tablet that dissolves under the tongue, relieving and preventing cravings and withdrawal symptoms to help you stop smoking or vaping, or cut down first.

How does it help?

Place a tablet under your tongue and let it dissolve slowly - it takes about 30 minutes; do not chew or swallow it. Take one an hour, or two an hour if you smoke more than 20 cigarettes a day or vape heavily. Most people need 8 to 12 or 16 to 24 a day, and no more than 40. Treatment is usually up to three months, then reduce gradually.

Who should take care?

Under-18s should use it for no more than 12 weeks unless a doctor advises otherwise. Not for non-smokers or occasional smokers. If you have recently been in hospital with a heart attack, stroke, unstable angina or a serious heart rhythm problem, or have uncontrolled high blood pressure, speak to your doctor first.
