What is Dermalex Scalp Psoriasis Gel 75ml?

Dermalex Scalp Psoriasis Gel is a clear, leave-on gel for scalp psoriasis. It is a medical device rather than a medicine, so it contains no steroid or coal tar. It is used twice a day to help reduce the flaking, plaques and itch that come with psoriasis on the scalp.

How does it help?

The gel forms a protective layer over the scalp that seals in moisture and helps the skin barrier repair itself, which in turn eases the dryness, scaling and itching that come with psoriasis on the scalp. Push the hair aside, apply to the affected scalp, spread it in with your fingertips and let it dry. It does not need washing out until your next shower or bath.

Who should take care?

Always read the instructions before use. For external use only. Not suitable for children under 6, and older children should use it under parental guidance. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not apply to severe open wounds. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. A slight stinging feeling during the first few applications is normal and passes quickly; stop and speak to our pharmacist if irritation persists. If your psoriasis is widespread, severe or not improving, see your GP, as prescription treatment may be needed.
