What is Benylin Mucus Cough & Cold All in One Relief Tablets 16?
Benylin Mucus Cough & Cold All in One Relief Tablets are a medicine for the relief of the symptoms of colds and flu, including aches and pains, headache, blocked nose, sore throat, chills and a chesty cough, for adults and children aged 12 and over.
How does it help?
Paracetamol eases pain and fever, guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosens chest mucus so it is easier to cough up, and phenylephrine is a decongestant that clears a blocked nose. Swallow 2 tablets whole with water every 4 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets (4 doses) in 24 hours.

Who should take care?
Contains paracetamol - do not take anything else containing paracetamol, or any other cold, flu, decongestant or cough-suppressant product. Not for children under 12 unless a doctor advises. Do not take with high blood pressure, heart disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, liver or severe kidney problems, or with beta-blockers, tricyclic antidepressants or within 2 weeks of an MAOI. Stop and see a doctor if the cough lasts more than 5 days, comes back, or comes with a fever, rash or lasting headache. Get urgent medical help after taking too much, even if you feel well.
