What is Beechams Cold & Flu Hot Lemon & Honey Sachets 5?
Beechams Cold & Flu Hot Lemon & Honey is a medicine for the symptoms of colds and flu - headache, sore throat, aches and pains, chills and fever, blocked nose, catarrh and painful sinuses - for adults and children aged 16 and over.
How does it help?
Paracetamol relieves pain and fever, and phenylephrine is a decongestant that eases a blocked nose and sinuses. Empty one sachet into a mug, half fill with very hot water and stir well; top up with cold water as needed. Take 1 sachet every 4 hours if needed - no more than 6 in 24 hours, and not for more than 7 days without medical advice.

Who should take care?
Contains paracetamol - do not take anything else containing paracetamol, or any other cold, flu or decongestant product. Not for under 16s unless a doctor advises. Do not take with high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, liver or kidney problems, or with beta-blockers, tricyclic antidepressants or within 2 weeks of an MAOI. Contains 4g sucrose and 152.81mg sodium per sachet. Get urgent medical help after taking too much, even if you feel well.
