What is Sterimar Congestion Relief Kids Nasal Spray 50ml?

Sterimar Congestion Relief Kids is a hypertonic sea-water nasal spray for babies and toddlers with a blocked nose from colds, for children aged 3 months to 3 years. It contains no drugs or preservatives.

How does it help?

The spray has a higher salt concentration than the body's cells, so it draws excess fluid and mucus out of the nose to ease congestion, and washes the nasal passages. Prime on first use. Babies from 3 months to 2 years: lie the child on their side, or sitting with the head to one side; from 2 years keep the head upright. Gently insert the nozzle, press for about 2 seconds, let any excess run out, wipe, and repeat in the other nostril - 2 to 6 times a day until the nose is clear. It can be used before sleep and before feeds. Wash the nozzle in hot soapy water after use.

Who should take care?

For temporary use while the nose is blocked, or as long as your doctor recommends. Pressurised can: keep away from heat and flames, do not pierce or burn, and do not expose to temperatures over 50C. Keep out of reach of children. Contact your GP or 111 if your child is struggling to breathe, feeding poorly, has a high temperature, or is under 3 months and unwell.
