What is Snufflebabe Vapour Rub 35g?
Snufflebabe Vapour Rub is a general sale medicine for relief of congestion of the upper airways - a blocked nose - in babies and children from 3 months.
How does it help?
Body heat makes the aromatic oils (eucalyptus, menthol and thyme) evaporate, and breathing in the vapour helps clear a blocked nose so your child can settle. Rub a small amount on the upper chest and throat. Alternatively, put a little on a tissue or handkerchief tied to the cot just out of reach.

Who should take care?
Always read the leaflet. Never put it on or around the nostrils - menthol ointment there is dangerous for infants. Not for babies under 3 months unless your GP, pharmacist or health visitor advises. Do not use on broken skin or if your child is allergic to any ingredient. Keep the jar out of children's reach. If symptoms persist, or your baby is struggling to breathe, feeding poorly or has a high temperature, contact your GP or 111.
