What is Nurofen Long Lasting Pain Relief 300mg Capsules 24?

Nurofen Long Lasting Pain Relief is a prolonged-release ibuprofen capsule for backache, rheumatic pain and muscular pain.

How does it help?

Each capsule releases 300mg of ibuprofen, an anti-inflammatory painkiller, gradually over the day, so it is taken twice a day. Swallow one or two capsules whole with water - do not chew or suck them - and take no more than 4 capsules in 24 hours. Use the lowest dose for the shortest time.

Who should take care?

For adults and young people aged 12 and over. Young people under 18 should see a doctor if they need it for more than 3 days, adults if they need it for more than 10 days, or sooner if symptoms worsen. Do not take it if you have reacted to ibuprofen, aspirin or another anti-inflammatory painkiller, have had a stomach ulcer or bleeding, have severe heart, kidney or liver failure, or are in the last three months of pregnancy. Take care with asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease or a history of stroke, Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, lupus, or kidney or liver problems, and do not take it with other anti-inflammatory painkillers.
