What is Midrid Migraine Relief 325mg/65mg Capsules 15?
Midrid 325mg/65mg Capsules are a pharmacy medicine for migraine and throbbing headaches in adults. Each capsule combines paracetamol, a painkiller, with isometheptene mucate.
How does it help?
Paracetamol eases the pain, and isometheptene narrows the swollen blood vessels in the head that are linked with the throbbing pain of a migraine. Take two capsules with water as soon as you know a migraine is starting; if it is still there an hour later, take one more, then one an hour if needed - up to five capsules in 12 hours. One more course may be taken after 12 hours if needed; after that, ask a doctor or pharmacist.

Who should take care?
Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Not recommended for children. Do not take it if you are allergic to paracetamol, isometheptene or any ingredient; if you have severe kidney, liver or heart problems, severe high blood pressure or glaucoma; or if you are pregnant, might be pregnant, are breastfeeding or have recently given birth. Do not take any other medicine containing paracetamol on the same day, and avoid alcohol. Never take more than five capsules in 12 hours - an overdose of paracetamol can cause serious liver damage even if you feel well, so get urgent medical help.
