What is Lamisil Once 1% Cutaneous Solution 4g?

Lamisil Once is a clear, film-forming solution containing the antifungal terbinafine. It is a one-off treatment for athlete's foot (tinea pedis) in adults aged 18 and over. The whole tube is used in a single application to both feet.

How does it help?

After washing and drying both feet, you apply a thin layer between and all around the toes and over the sole and sides of each foot, then let it dry for one to two minutes. It sets into a thin, invisible film that holds the terbinafine against the skin, where it kills the fungus causing the infection. You should not wash the treated feet for 24 hours after applying it, so it is best used after your evening shower.

Who should take care?

Always read the patient information leaflet before use. For adults aged 18 and over. For external use only - do not use on the face, keep it away from the eyes and do not swallow. It is mostly alcohol, so keep it away from naked flames and take care on skin that is broken or raw. It is not recommended for the thick, dry, scaly type of athlete's foot that covers the whole sole. Do not use if you have ever reacted to terbinafine. Not to be used while breastfeeding, and in pregnancy only if a doctor or pharmacist has advised it.
