What is Hydromol Ointment 500g?
Hydromol Ointment is an all-purpose emollient for dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis - a moisturiser, bath additive and soap substitute in one, gentle enough for sensitive skin.
How does it help?
The paraffin base forms a protective layer over the skin that locks in moisture and stops it drying out, leaving it softer and more comfortable. Massage it into the skin as often as needed - it can also be used under wet wraps or as a night treatment. To use in the bath, first mix a little with hot water to disperse it. Use it instead of soap to wash.

Who should take care?
For external use only. Contains paraffin: fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings) that has been in contact with it burns more easily - keep away from naked flames and do not smoke. It can make the bath or shower slippery - take care. Stop using it if your skin becomes irritated. See a GP if eczema is infected (weeping, crusting or hot and painful) or not improving.
