What is FyboCalm Diarrhoea Relief Capsules 30?

A capsule for loose, urgent or repeated bowel movements, including the diarrhoea that comes with irritable bowel syndrome. It is registered as a medical device rather than a medicine, which means it works physically inside the bowel rather than by being absorbed into the body.

How does it help?

The xyloglucan and pea protein combine to form a thin film along the wall of the intestine. That film acts as a physical barrier: it shields the gut lining from irritants and helps the bowel hold on to water rather than losing it, which is what makes stools loose. The xylo-oligosaccharides are a food source for the bacteria that normally live in your gut.
