What is Dioralyte Rehydration Sachets?

Sachets of oral rehydration salts to help replace the fluids and body salts lost through diarrhoea and vomiting. Suitable for adults and children.

How does it help?

Each sachet dissolves in water to make a balanced solution of glucose and electrolytes (sodium, potassium and citrate) that the body absorbs efficiently to restore hydration, following the established WHO oral rehydration formula.

Who should take care?

Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Make up each sachet with the stated amount of water and use freshly prepared solution. See a doctor if diarrhoea is severe or lasts more than a couple of days, or for a very young child. Don't use if you're allergic to any of the ingredients. Speak to our pharmacist if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, taking other medicines, or have any ongoing health conditions such as diabetes or kidney problems.
