What is Dermalex Rosacea Treatment 30g?

Dermalex Rosacea is a cream for the redness, flushing and visible small blood vessels of rosacea and couperose. It is a medical device rather than a medicine, contains no steroids or antibiotics, and is intended for ongoing use on the affected areas of the face.

How does it help?

Rosacea-prone skin has a weakened barrier that over-reacts to triggers such as sun, wind, heat and certain foods. Dermalex forms an invisible film on the skin, containing UV filters, that shields it from these external triggers, while its ceramides help replenish the skin's own barrier lipids. As the barrier is better protected from those triggers, the skin can be less prone to flushing and visible redness over time.

Who should take care?

Always read the instructions before use. For external use only. Do not apply to open wounds or to cracked or injured skin, and keep it away from the eye contour; avoid contact with the eyes and genitals, and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water if contact happens. Stop using it if you get lasting irritation or an allergic reaction. Rosacea that is getting worse, has pus-filled spots or affects the eyes should be assessed by a GP; our pharmacist can advise.
