What is CeraVe Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum 30ml?

A lightweight, gel-textured face serum from CeraVe for dry and dehydrated skin. It combines hyaluronic acid, which holds many times its own weight in water, with vitamin B5 and the three essential ceramides found naturally in healthy skin. It is fragrance-free and non-comedogenic, and comes in a 30ml pump bottle.

How does it help?

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant: it attracts water into the outer layer of the skin and holds it there, so skin looks plumper and feels less tight. Ceramides are the natural fats that hold skin cells together in the outer barrier; when skin is dry that barrier is often depleted, and topping the ceramides up helps the skin keep the moisture it has. CeraVe's MVE delivery releases these ingredients gradually through the day rather than all at once.
