What is Flexitol 10% Urea Cream 500g?

Flexitol 10% Urea Cream is a moisturising cream for skin that has become very dry, rough or flaky — most often on the feet, elbows, knees and hands. The 500g size is meant for daily use over larger areas rather than the odd dry patch.

How does it help?

Urea does two jobs at once in the skin. As a humectant it draws water into the outer layer and holds it there, so the skin rehydrates from within rather than simply being coated. At the same time it gently loosens the bonds between hardened surface cells, which softens rough, scaly patches and lets the cream sink in instead of sitting on top.
