What is Covonia All-In-One Chesty Cough, Cold & Flu Relief 160ml?
Covonia All-In-One Chesty Cough, Cold & Flu Relief is a general sale medicine for the short-term relief of cold and flu symptoms, including aches and pains, headache, nasal congestion, a tickly sore throat and chesty coughs.
How does it help?
Paracetamol eases pain and fever, phenylephrine is a decongestant for a blocked nose, guaifenesin loosens phlegm, and cetylpyridinium is an antiseptic for a tickly throat. Shake the bottle for at least 10 seconds. Adults and children over 16: 20ml; children 12 to 16: 15ml - up to four times in 24 hours, at least 4 hours apart, using the cup supplied. For short-term use only.

Who should take care?
Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Contains paracetamol - do not take with any other paracetamol-containing medicine or other cold and decongestant products. Not for children under 12 unless a doctor advises. Do not take it if you are pregnant, take medicine for high blood pressure or a beta-blocker, have taken an MAOI antidepressant in the last 14 days, or have an enlarged prostate. Ask our pharmacist first if you have liver or kidney problems, heart disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes or glaucoma. Contains alcohol (3g per 20ml dose) and sorbitol. Talk to a doctor at once if too much is taken, even if you feel well.
