What is Cold & Flu Nurse All in One Capsules 16?
Cold and Flu Nurse All in One Capsules are a combination medicine for the symptoms of colds and flu: aches and pains, headache, chills, a blocked nose, a sore throat and a chesty cough. Each capsule contains paracetamol, guaifenesin and phenylephrine. They are for adults and young people aged 16 and over.
How does it help?
Paracetamol eases pain and helps bring down a raised temperature. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps loosen and thin mucus on the chest so it is easier to cough up. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that reduces swelling in the lining of the nose to help you breathe more easily. The dose is two capsules every four hours as needed, up to a maximum of eight capsules in 24 hours.
Key benefits
- Three ingredients in one capsule for several cold and flu symptoms at once
- An expectorant to help loosen a chesty cough
- A decongestant to help clear a blocked nose
- Two capsules every four hours as needed, with a clear daily maximum
