What is CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum 30ml?
A fragrance-free face serum from CeraVe built around encapsulated retinol, with niacinamide, liquorice root extract and the three essential ceramides. It is designed for skin that is left with uneven texture, enlarged-looking pores or dark marks after spots have cleared. 30ml pump bottle.
How does it help?
Retinol is a form of vitamin A that supports the skin's natural renewal, so rougher, unevenly coloured surface cells are shed a little sooner and the skin beneath looks smoother and more even. Encapsulating the retinol lets it release gradually, which helps limit the dryness and stinging retinol can cause. Niacinamide helps calm the skin, and the ceramides help keep the skin barrier comfortable while the retinol does its work.
Key benefits
- Helps smooth uneven skin texture and soften the look of post-blemish marks over time
- Encapsulated retinol releases gradually to limit the dryness and stinging retinol can cause
- Fragrance-free, with ceramides and niacinamide to support the skin barrier
- Non-comedogenic, so it is suitable for blemish-prone skin
Who should take care?
Always read the instructions before use. Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin in the evening and start with two or three nights a week, building up as your skin tolerates it. Retinol makes skin more sensitive to the sun, so use a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning. Avoid the eye area and broken skin. Some mild dryness or flaking is normal at first; if your skin becomes very red, sore or peels heavily, stop and ask our pharmacist. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, check with our pharmacist before using any retinol product. This is a cosmetic - it is not a treatment for acne, and if you have active or persistent spots our pharmacist can advise on suitable options.
