What is After Bite Classic Pen 14ml?

After Bite Classic is a small pen with a dab-on applicator that you press onto an insect bite or sting. It is a cosmetic soothing product rather than a licensed medicine, and it slips into a pocket, bag or first-aid kit for holidays, camping and evenings outdoors.

How does it help?

Its ammonia-based formula is mildly alkaline. Dabbed onto the skin it helps counter the irritation that makes a fresh bite itch and sting, and applying it promptly after a bite tends to give the most noticeable relief.

Who should take care?

Always read the instructions before use. Apply to unbroken skin only and keep it away from the eyes, mouth and any open wounds. Stop using it if the skin becomes sore or more irritated. This product soothes ordinary bites - it does not treat infection. If a bite becomes hot, swollen, increasingly painful or the redness starts to spread, or if you have any breathing difficulty or facial swelling after a sting, seek help straight away.
