What is 4mm Pen Needles 32G 100?

These are the disposable needles that screw onto a reusable or pre-filled injector pen, such as the pens used for insulin and for GLP-1 injections. The 4mm length is the shortest standard size and suits most adults, delivering the injection into the fatty layer just under the skin. Each needle is sealed and sterile, is used once, then removed and put in a sharps bin.

How does it help?

The needle twists onto the threaded end of the pen. Once the pen is primed, the fine 32 gauge tip passes through the skin into the fat beneath it, where the medicine is absorbed steadily. At 4mm the needle is short enough that most people can inject straight in at 90 degrees without lifting a skin fold, which keeps the injection out of the muscle. Who should take care?
