What is Alli 60 mg Capsules (orlistat)?

A pharmacy weight-loss aid containing orlistat, for adults aged 18 and over with a BMI of 28 or above. It's taken with meals as part of a lower-calorie, lower-fat diet to help you lose weight.

How does it help?

Orlistat blocks some of the enzymes that digest fat in the gut. This means about a quarter of the fat you eat isn't absorbed and passes naturally out of the body instead of being stored.
