What is QV Intensive Ointment 450g?
QV Intensive Ointment is a rich emollient balm from the QV dermatological range for extremely dry and sensitive skin, on the face and body.
How does it help?
Paraffins rehydrate the skin and form a protective layer that seals moisture in, leaving very dry areas such as elbows and knees soft and protected, without the greasy feel of a traditional ointment. Apply liberally and massage in gently, especially after bathing or showering.

Who should take care?
For external use only. Paraffin-based emollients carry a fire risk: fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings) with emollient dried on it catches fire more easily - do not smoke or go near naked flames, and change and wash fabrics often (MHRA advice for all paraffin-containing emollients). Store below 30C. If eczema or psoriasis is red, weeping, infected-looking or not improving, speak to our pharmacist or your GP.
