What is Oraldene Medicated Mouthwash 200ml?
Oraldene is a medicated mouthwash for minor mouth infections, including oral thrush, for helping prevent and treat gingivitis (sore, bleeding gums), and for sore throat and recurrent mouth ulcers. It is also useful for bad breath and before and after dental surgery.
How does it help?
Hexetidine is antibacterial and antifungal. Shake well, then rinse the mouth or gargle with at least 15ml of the undiluted mouthwash two to three times a day, and spit it out - do not swallow. Adults and children aged 12 and over.

Who should take care?
Always read the leaflet. Do not swallow. Not recommended under 12. Do not use if you are allergic to hexetidine or any ingredient; it contains azorubine (E122), which can cause allergic reactions including asthma, more often in people allergic to aspirin, and alcohol. Ask our pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Not for persistent symptoms: see your dentist, GP or our pharmacist if symptoms last more than a week or a mouth ulcer has not healed in 3 weeks.
