What is Benadryl Allergy Children's 1mg/ml Oral Solution 120ml?
Benadryl Allergy Children's Oral Solution is a pharmacy antihistamine for the relief of the nose and eye symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis (hay fever, pet and dust allergies) and of chronic hives, for children aged 2 and over and adults.
How does it help?
Cetirizine blocks histamine, the chemical released in an allergic reaction, easing sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, itchy watery eyes and itchy skin rashes. Use the dosing cup: children 2 to 6 years, 2.5ml twice a day; 6 to 12 years, 5ml twice a day; over 12 and adults, 10ml once a day.

Who should take care?
Not for children under 2, or anyone with severe kidney disease. Ask first with kidney or liver problems, epilepsy or seizures, or difficulty passing urine. It does not usually cause drowsiness, but some people are affected - take care with alcohol. Contains sorbitol (not suitable with hereditary fructose intolerance; may have a mild laxative effect), propylene glycol and benzoic acid. Stop it 3 days before allergy skin tests. Stop and see a doctor if symptoms persist or get worse.
