What is QV Cream?
QV Cream is a concentrated moisturising cream from the QV dermatological range for dry and very dry skin, including dry skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. It is hypoallergenic and free from fragrance, colour and lanolin.
How does it help?
Glycerin draws water into the skin while light liquid paraffin and soft white paraffin form a layer that seals in the skin's own moisture and prevents water loss; squalane is a natural part of skin oil. Apply to the affected areas as often as required - especially after showering, bathing or shaving, after exposure to harsh weather, and at night.

Who should take care?
For external use only. Paraffin-based emollients carry a fire risk: fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings) with emollient dried on it catches fire more easily - do not smoke or go near naked flames, and change and wash fabrics often (MHRA advice for all paraffin-containing emollients). Store below 30C. If eczema or psoriasis is red, weeping, infected-looking or not improving with emollients, speak to our pharmacist or your GP.
