What is Optase Moist Heat Eye Mask?
The Optase Moist Heat Mask is a reusable warm compress for the eyelids, used for dry eye, blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction (blocked oil glands in the eyelids), chalazion and styes.
How does it help?
HydroBeads absorb moisture from the air and release a natural, constant moist heat that softens the oils in the eyelid glands so they can flow and protect the tear film. Microwave on full power for 25 seconds, test the temperature with your fingers, then lay it over closed eyes for 10 minutes or as your eye care specialist advises. Never heat for more than 30 seconds in total; if reused within 30 minutes, reduce the heating time by 10 seconds.

Who should take care?
Always test the temperature before placing it on the eyes; allow to cool if too hot. External use only - not on sensitive skin or open wounds, and do not swallow the contents. Do not share the mask. Hand wash only in cold water with mild detergent and air dry for at least 24 hours. See an optometrist or doctor if symptoms persist or worsen, or for a painful red eye or changes in vision.
