What is Optrex ActiMist Spray for Itchy & Watery Eyes 10ml?

Optrex ActiMist Double Action Spray for Itchy & Watery Eyes is a liposome eye spray for eyes that feel itchy and watery, which can come from a disturbed tear film - often linked to pollen or other things in the environment. It suits people who do not like using drops or touching their eyes.

How does it help?

Sprayed onto closed eyelids, the liposome particles gather at the edges of the lids; when you blink they spread across the eye, helping to repair gaps in the tear film's oily layer so less moisture is lost - soothing relief for up to 4 hours. Before first use, press the nozzle 3 to 4 times. Hold the spray 10cm from your closed eyelid and spray 1 to 2 times onto closed eyelids, 3 to 4 times a day. It can be used while wearing contact lenses or make-up.

Who should take care?

Contains soya lecithin - do not use if you are allergic to soya. Spray onto closed eyes only. If itchy eyes come with sneezing and a runny nose, ask our pharmacist about hay fever treatments. See an optician, GP or NHS 111 urgently for a painful or very red eye, blurred or changed vision, sensitivity to light, or after something has hit or entered the eye.
