What is Gaviscon Double Action Sachets?

Single-dose liquid sachets for relief from heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion, including the burning feeling and discomfort after meals.

How does it help?

It works in two ways: an alginate forms a protective raft that floats on the stomach contents to help stop acid rising into the gullet, while antacids neutralise excess stomach acid.

Who should take care?

Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Take after meals and at bedtime as directed and don't exceed the stated dose. See a doctor if symptoms last more than a couple of weeks. Don't use if you're allergic to any of the ingredients. Speak to our pharmacist if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, taking other medicines, on a low-sodium diet, or have any ongoing health conditions such as kidney or heart problems.
