What is Fusion Allergy Eye Spray 10ml?

Fusion Allergy Eye Spray is a medical device for dry, irritated and inflamed eyes and the skin around them. Instead of dropping liquid into the eye, you spray it onto your closed eyelids and it reaches the eye surface when you blink. It is used for burning, dryness, itching, redness and a gritty feeling caused by allergies such as hay fever, and for eyes tired by air conditioning, wind, pollution or pool water.

How does it help?

Ectoin, a natural cell-protective molecule, works with soy lecithin to stabilise and strengthen the tear film, the thin layer of moisture that protects the surface of the eye. This reduces drying out and supports the recovery of irritated conjunctiva. It also moisturises the dry, itchy skin around the eyes. It contains no antihistamine or other medicine.

Who should take care?

Always read the instructions before use. Spray 1 to 2 times onto each closed eyelid from about 10cm away, several times a day. Do not use after eye surgery, after an eye injury, or if the cornea (the clear front of the eye) is damaged. Do not use if you are sensitive to Ectoin, soy lecithin or any other ingredient, and stop straight away if a reaction occurs. Do not spray into the open eye or touch the eye with the spray head. Using it alongside other eye drops or eye ointments is not recommended. Use within 3 months of opening. Use in pregnancy and while breastfeeding is not recommended, as there is not enough safety information. Children under 2 should have no more than 4 applications a day. If your eye becomes painful, your sight changes, or symptoms persist or get worse, speak to our pharmacist or your doctor.
