What is Dymista Control Nasal Spray 120 Sprays?
Dymista Control Nasal Spray is a pharmacy medicine for the relief of moderate to severe seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) in adults, when a nasal spray with just an antihistamine or just a steroid is not considered enough.
How does it help?
It combines two treatments in one spray: azelastine, an antihistamine that acts quickly on sneezing, itching and a runny nose, and fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid that calms the inflammation in the nose. Use one spray in each nostril in the morning and evening - regular use is needed for the full benefit. Shake the bottle gently before each use and avoid spraying into the eyes.
Key benefits
- An antihistamine and a steroid in one spray
- For moderate to severe hay fever when one ingredient is not enough
- Twice-daily dosing
- Supplied after our pharmacist checks it suits you
Who should take care?
Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Not for anyone under 18. Do not use it if you are allergic to azelastine, fluticasone or any ingredient. Stop and speak to a doctor if there is no improvement within 7 days, and do not use it for more than 3 months in a row without seeing a doctor. Speak to a doctor first if you use other steroid medicines (tablets, creams, inhalers, other nasal sprays or eye/nose drops), have a fever or a nose or sinus infection, have recently had nose surgery or an injury, or have ulcers in the nose, or take ritonavir (an HIV medicine). If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a doctor before using it.
