What is Pirilieve Hayfever Relief 120mg Tablets 30?

Pirilieve Hayfever Relief 120mg Film-Coated Tablets contain fexofenadine, an antihistamine, for the relief of hay fever symptoms in adults and children aged 12 and over.

How does it help?

Fexofenadine blocks histamine, the chemical the body releases in an allergic reaction, which eases sneezing, a runny or itchy nose and itchy, watery eyes. Take one tablet a day with water before a meal. The leaflet says it starts to work within an hour and lasts for 24 hours.

Who should take care?

Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Not recommended for children under 12. Do not take it if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any ingredient. Talk to our pharmacist or your doctor first if you have liver or kidney problems, have or have had heart disease, or are elderly. Indigestion remedies containing aluminium or magnesium can reduce how much is absorbed, so leave about 2 hours between them. Do not take it in pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless a doctor advises.
