What is Cymex Cream for Cold Sores & Cracked Lips 5g?
Cymex Cream is a medicine for applying to cold sores and cracked lips, suitable for adults, the elderly and children.
How does it help?
Dimeticone forms a protective layer that helps stop lips drying and cracking, urea helps keep them moisturised, and cetrimide is an antiseptic. Smooth a little over the lips as soon as you feel a tingle or burning, and apply sparingly every hour as needed.

Who should take care?
For external use only. Contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions. Ask a doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Cold sores are contagious - avoid kissing and sharing towels, and wash your hands after touching them. See a GP for a cold sore near the eye, one that has not healed in 10 days, very large or painful sores, or if your immune system is weakened.
