What is Freederm Gel 10g?
Freederm Gel is a clear gel containing nicotinamide, a form of vitamin B3. It is licensed for the topical treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory acne: the red, sore spots and bumps rather than blackheads alone.
How does it help?
Nicotinamide works on the inflammation inside acne spots rather than by drying or peeling the skin. Applied to the affected area, it calms the redness and swelling of inflamed spots. Nicotinamide is not an antibiotic and not a retinoid.

Who should take care?
Always read the patient information leaflet before use. For external use only. Keep away from the eyes and the inside of the nose and mouth. Do not use if you have ever reacted to nicotinamide or any of the other ingredients. If your skin becomes excessively dry, irritated or starts to peel, cut back to once a day or every other day. Acne usually takes several weeks to respond; if there is no improvement after 12 weeks, ask our pharmacist or your GP for advice.
