If suitable, we dispense and deliver discreetly
No — it slows regrowth, so you shave or manage hair less often. It works alongside your normal hair removal, not instead of it.
Usually around 8 weeks. If there's no improvement after 4 months, stop and speak to us.
No. Vaniqa must not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and women planning a pregnancy should stop treatment and use other hair management methods. Physical hair removal, such as shaving, waxing or threading, remains safe to use during pregnancy. Tell our pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy so they can advise on suitable alternatives.
Yes. Vaniqa is not a hair remover — it slows the rate of facial hair growth, so you must continue your usual hair removal method, though you may need it less often. Wait at least five minutes after shaving or other hair removal before applying the cream, and at least five minutes after applying it before using make-up or sunscreen on the same area.
Skin reactions such as stinging, burning, dryness or redness can occur at the application site and are generally mild and transient. If irritation occurs, reduce application to once daily until it resolves. If it persists, stop using the cream and seek medical advice. Vaniqa should not be applied to broken or irritated skin, so tell our pharmacist about any facial skin problems before starting.
