Questions, answered plainly

Does it stop altitude sickness completely?

No — the best prevention is a slow, gradual ascent. Acetazolamide reduces the risk and severity, and works best alongside sensible acclimatisation.

When do I start taking it?

Usually the day before you start climbing. Our pharmacist will give you exact timing for your itinerary.
