Travel clinic
Vaccinations, antimalarials, and destination-specific advice — tailored to your itinerary, age, medical history, and any medicines you're already on. We use the official FCDO TravelHealthPro database for every consultation.
How it works
- Book a consultation — phone, walk in, or message. Tell us where you're going, when, for how long.
- 15-30 minute consultation with our pharmacist. We review your itinerary against FCDO TravelHealthPro, check your medical history, and recommend the right vaccinations and antimalarials for you.
- Vaccinations given on the day where possible (most are single-dose; rabies and some others need a course over 3-4 weeks).
- Take-home pack — printed advice on food & water hygiene, sun & insect protection, altitude, diarrhoea kit, and what to do if you fall ill abroad.
- Yellow Fever International Certificate issued same day where Yellow Fever vaccine is given.
Vaccines we offer
Prices are per dose; some vaccines need multiple doses for full protection. The consultation is £25 and is taken off the bill if you proceed with any vaccinations on the day.

Antimalarial prescribing
Antimalarials are prescription-only. As an Independent Prescribing pharmacist (Shoyab Umarji, GPhC #2065619), we can assess your itinerary and prescribe the right antimalarial for your destination, considering current resistance patterns and your medical history.
- Atovaquone + Proguanil (Malarone-equivalent) — well-tolerated, daily, suitable for last-minute travel. From £1.50/tablet.
- Doxycycline — cheapest option, daily, suitable for most destinations. From £0.50/tablet.
- Mefloquine — weekly, suitable for longer trips, with careful screening for mental-health history.
- Chloroquine + Proguanil — older, used in low-resistance areas only.
Quantity supplied depends on length of stay + bracket (start 1-2 days before entering the malarial area; continue 7 days to 4 weeks after leaving, depending on the drug).
