Discreet, pharmacist-led services for STI testing, emergency contraception and adult sexual-health concerns. Always free on the NHS first where eligible — we'll signpost you to Leeds Sexual Health before charging for anything they'd give you free.

Leeds Sexual Health (NHS) is free. Full STI screen, contraception including LARC, PEP, treatment, follow-up — all free, all confidential, no GP appointment needed. leedssexualhealth.com or 0113 392 0333. Our private services exist for when you need faster access, more discretion, or NHS isn't suitable for your situation.

Emergency hormonal contraception (EHC)

P-medicine — pharmacist consultation in our consultation room.

Levonelle (levonorgestrel 1.5 mg) — effective up to 72 hours after unprotected sex. EllaOne (ulipristal 30 mg) — effective up to 120 hours. Sooner is better. Confidential, no questions about your sex life beyond what's clinically needed.

Chlamydia test & treat

Home-test kit option or in-pharmacy sampling. Adults 16+.

Most common STI in the UK. Often no symptoms. Kit sent to UKAS-accredited lab; result in 5-7 days. If positive, we supply azithromycin or doxycycline under PGD with partner-notification support.

How privacy works at Hyde Park

No questions at the counter — if you want EHC, just say "I'd like to speak to the pharmacist about EHC" and we move to the room.
Records are confidential per our privacy notice. We don't share with friends, family, employers, or your GP without your explicit consent (with exceptions for safeguarding and statutory reporting).
Plain packaging on any postal product (home test kits, dispatched medicines) — no pharmacy branding visible from outside.
You can pay cash if you don't want the transaction on your card statement.

Possible HIV exposure in last 72 hours? Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) needs to start as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours. PEP is free on the NHS at Leeds Sexual Health (or A&E out of hours). Call 0113 392 0333 or go to LGI A&E. We do not provide PEP — this needs specialist initiation.
