Common questions

How far before travel should I come?

Ideally 4–6 weeks before, as some courses need multiple doses (rabies is 3 doses over 3–4 weeks). Last-minute traveller? Still come — many vaccines and malaria tablets can be started close to departure.

Which vaccinations do I actually need?

It depends on your destination, season, activities and your health. We check your trip against the official NaTHNaC TravelHealthPro database and recommend only what's appropriate — request a callback and we'll plan it free.

Do you do Hajj and Umrah certificates?

Yes — Meningitis ACWY with the certificate required for the visa is £55. Book at least 10 days before travel.

Can you do the whole family?

Yes, with age limits per vaccine (for example hepatitis A from age 1, typhoid from age 2). The online checks ask the right questions per person.

Do you do yellow fever?

Yellow fever is coming soon — it requires a registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre, which we're completing. Until then we'll point you to the nearest YFVC and handle everything else your trip needs.

Important. These are prescription-only treatments supplied under Patient Group Directions after a structured clinical check. Our prescribing pharmacist personally reviews every consultation and makes the final decision — nothing is approved automatically, and where your GP or an NHS route is more appropriate we will say so.
