Common questions

Is it really confidential?

Completely. The questionnaire is online, the pharmacist's review is private, and anything posted goes in plain packaging with nothing identifying the contents. In store, just ask for your collection — nothing is discussed at the counter.

Which is better — Sildenafil, Tadalafil or Vardenafil?

They work the same way but differ in timing: Sildenafil lasts around 4 hours, Tadalafil up to 36 hours, Vardenafil starts fast. The right one depends on you — our consultation has a 'not sure' option and the pharmacist recommends.

Why do you ask about heart medicines?

ED tablets must never be combined with nitrates (like GTN spray) — the combination can dangerously drop blood pressure. The screening checks this and other interactions, the same checks a prescriber would make.

Do I need a prescription?

You don't need to bring one. These are prescription-only medicines supplied under a Patient Group Direction — a legal framework where our prescribing pharmacist assesses and supplies directly.

How fast can I get it?

Often same day: complete the consultation, the pharmacist reviews (usually within hours in opening times), then collect from Woodsley Road or choose tracked delivery.

Important. These are prescription-only treatments supplied under Patient Group Directions after a structured clinical check. Our prescribing pharmacist personally reviews every consultation and makes the final decision — nothing is approved automatically, and where your GP or an NHS route is more appropriate we will say so.
